Los Angeles (CNN) -- Pop singer and actress Christina Aguilera was arrested on misdemeanor charges and released on $250 bail, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said Tuesday.
Also arrested was Aguilera's rumored boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, according to authorities. Rutler's bail was set at $30,000.
The department said more details would be released soon.
Aguilera, 30, divorced Jordan Bratman earlier this year.
Shit, it's only the first of March and already Christina Aguilera is having the worst year in recorded history. Who knew she was going to make Brittany look like the sane one. First, she shows up to the Super Bowl with hips that would fit Khloe Kardashian. Then throw in fucking up the lyrics to the National Anthem and falling on your fat ass at the Golden Globes and you have a shitty month. To put icing on the cake, Xtina got thtrown in the clinker! That sounds like one really shitty timeline of events. This chick has to be on drugs, right? I hope she is on them for her sake just so she has something to fall back on. Oh, that was when I was usin, that type of shit. Nine more months to go this year, I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next.
