What exactly is Andy Rooney's target audience on these rants of his? My seventy year old uncle thinks Rooney is too old and senile. That leaves about the age group between 82-118 as Mr. Rooney's main audience. He has got to be blackmailing somebody over at 60 minutes. There is no other logical explanation on why he is still on tv. It's definitely not to connect with the youth. Andy Rooney is the kind of old person that gives old people a bad rap. He hates technology, he smells and looks like a wrotted out onion, and he is just too damn grumpy. I like my ninety- year olds smoking weed and banging 76-year old sluts.
