NAACP Loves Tyler Perry

Writer and director Tyler Perry was the big winner at this year's National Association for the Advancement of Colored People's Image Awards.

Perry's film For Colored Girls was named best movie and he also scooped the best director prize for the film.
The 41-year-old's TV series, Tyler Perry's House of Payne, was named best comedy series.

How is re-using other people's jokes and dressing up as an old black woman help the advancement of colored people?  I thought "colored people"  was no longer a politically correct term.  It's not like NAACP spells out anything cool anyway.  They should change that shit and get a badass acronym.  Anyway, I am going to have to check, and if Martin Lawrence didn't win a NAACP award for Big Momma's House, then I will have lost all faith in the NAACP and the way they hand out awards.
