A Northwestern University professor who allowed a couple to demonstrate a sex toy in front of students apologized Saturday, saying he regrets upsetting people and should not have allowed it.
While psychology Professor J. Michael Bailey called the incident a "mistake," he also said the February 21 incident provoked important debate about issues including academic freedom and the effect of sexual attitudes on education.
Sign me up for Professor Bailey's class! This is how education should work in this country. A hands-on approach. This guy isn't even apologizing to anyone, he's basically saying, "sorry you are such a prude and can't handle how I teach my class." If the kids need to see a lady come in five minutes with the Dildo 4000, then dammit, I am going to provide that educational experience for the kids. I have got to say that this is what makes America great. In one corner you got BYU, where no fucking or caffeine goes down. In the other corner you got Northwestern, where people fuck in class to spark debate. Diversity, baby!
